I would leave 50 LMB in the 1 acre and 25 in the small pond. You will have some natural morts - probably not many. You may have 200 to move. However absent a full pond seine you won't catch them all. Now next year will be a different story if you get

Well, my family finally got our house sold so we are moving to a house with a pond. The pond is roughly .5-.75 acres and is extremely bass heavy. Other than one 14 inch female sitting on a bed this spring, the biggest bass i have seen was maybe 10

Jeff didn't mention that GSF are suicidal and will hit anything immediately after being caught and released (as if anyone would do that). I think it is a shame thing.

The dam is along the left side of the picture. You can see the trench cut out from the waterflow. Pond could easly be 2 feet deeper with dam repair.

It's the width, that was the longest width, not the average which is must shorter. Sorry about that, all of this is purely estimates, I've measured nothing. Anyway, I just found out I don't need a permit from the Corps so the whole thing doesn't matt

Randy, I had to get 20 trout out the pond this morning for a order later today. Since I have the seine net in the pond seperating some fish the best way i had to get the 20 trout was to fish them out. I used a small hook with a piece of stubby steves
