Drum Roll, please.....
I am proud to announce the confirmed attendance of two distinguished celebrities to the Pond Boss conference.
B.A.S.S. founder, Ray Scott, is excited about attending the first annual Pond Boss Conference and Expo. He told me, "Pond Boss is paving the way for pond owners all over the world. With your active website, quality magazine and distinguished stable of writers, Pond Boss is the go to source of pond information." He also said, "Water is our country's next oil. If you don't believe me, price a bottle of water at the convenience store." Ray will address the crowd and attend the conference. I have been around him quite a few times. You all won't believe the energy level this 70-something icon brings with him. He is absolutely the most entertaining man I have ever been around. He will share his thoughts on pond management and will be signing books. His book, "Bass Boss", is a best seller. He will have them available and plans to sign plenty of autographs for Pond Boss faithful. The book is $20.
We have another legend attending the conference, Dr. Richard O. Anderson. For those of us in the fisheries management business, Dick Anderson is our icon. Work he has done for fisheries management is on the same level as H.S. Swingle, from Auburn, University. Dr. Anderson did the work which led to PSD and relative weights. Dr. Anderson has been a mentor for many, many fisheries biologists around this entire nation. We are honored that he has begun writing for the magazine and will make two talks at the conference.
As I am sure you noticed, JP put up a banner ad for us. Click on the conference icon and you will see the program. It will be a busy two days, but will absolutely be the most exciting and energetic two days you have ever spent talking about ponds and fish and stuff. This is the largest gathering of private fisheries practitioners on one place ever. It's a watershed moment for this industry and you all are invited to be involved.
I can't wait.
