March—What’s Not to Love?

By Bob Lusk

I truly love March each year. The throes of winter let go to the renewal of spring, when sleeping plants awaken, birds sing and build their nests. Things come alive, starting in March. My daughter celebrates the entire month…her birth month. Oh, and my birthday is March 28.

As this is my 70th March, I tend to appreciate each season more and more as each year flies by. Funny, the older I get, the more I want to learn and comprehend. There’s this thing that older people are supposed to have—wisdom. It’s a mission nowadays…to learn it and share it.

That is one of my favorite things about this little rag—the opportunity to gather knowledge from a variety of sources and share it with you, our readers.

Do me a favor, will you? Not only thumb through and read the articles which interest you, take a deeper look at the different advertisers and their wares and services. Keep in mind they are as big a part of the Pond Boss family as we all are. They are a big part of the fuel to keep Pond Boss rolling, not to mention they have some pretty cool stuff—stuff you need to keep your pond healthy.

Then, please take a few minutes and offer some input. Send me an email, tell me what you see in these pages, how it helps, what you’d like to see, what’s missing, what’s special. That helps guide our team to keep putting the best information, knowledge and wisdom we can find.

Email me at info@pondboss.com. I’ll get it and respond accordingly.

Enjoy these pages, enjoy these words, the experiences, and all things a pondmeister might want to pursue.

Fish on!

A series dedicated to Bob Lusk's general musings about land, water and life.
