Ken Hale, one of this industry’s seniors with over 37 years’ experience, with wife Mollie and family members Kirk & Rachel own Boatcycle Mfg in Henderson, Texas which is celebrating 63 years of serving aquaculture. Boatcycle Mfg. has been making aeration equipment since 1954 and has customers all over America and several foreign countries with a full line of products in their 32 page catalog. Over 20 years ago Ken began growing and selling Mozambique Tilapia. Drawing on his years of experience, Ken travels all over East Texas and West Louisiana as a speaker on pond & lake management and consults with private land owners about the same. County Extension Agents keep Ken’s number on their speed dial with questions about Pond Problems and honored him last year with their highest honor - Man of the Year in Texas Agriculture for the 22 county District 5.
