This series highlights speakers coming to the Pond Boss VII Conference & Expo. Speakers will present on a variety of topics, from aeration to wildlife management, as it relates to pond management and growing bigger fish. Learn more about the Pond Boss Conference here

Patrick is currently the head of limnological research at Vertex Water Features Inc. in Pompano Beach, FL. There he conducts research projects that investigate urban lake ecology, with a focus on the use of sustainable management techniques as tools for restoring impaired lakes and ponds. He also works through Vertex’s international dealer network to obtain data on lakes that have received aeration, to improve aeration design throughout different ecoregions.

Patrick just finished his masters at the State University of New York, Oneonta, where he studied Limnology and aeration of a shallow 100-acre eutrophic lake. He also holds a degree from the University of North Florida in biology. Patrick enjoys teaching and being outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and surfing.
